How to Send and Receive Business Email via Gmail

Using Gmail to Manage Your Business Email
You can use your existing Gmail account to send and receive emails from info@yourdomain.co.ke — keeping everything in one place.
Part 1 — Receive Emails in Gmail (via Forwarding)
Option A — Set up a forwarder in cPanel:- cPanel → Email → Forwarders → Add Forwarder
- Forward
info@yourdomain.co.keto your Gmail address - Emails sent to your domain address will arrive in Gmail
- Gmail → Settings (gear icon) → See all settings
- Go to Accounts and Import tab
- Under Check mail from other accounts, click Add a mail account
- Enter
info@yourdomain.co.ke→ Next - Select Import emails from my other account (POP3)
- Enter POP3 settings:
POP Server: mail.yourdomain.co.ke
Port: 995
Username: info@yourdomain.co.ke
Password: your email password
✅ Always use a secure connection (SSL)
- Click Add Account
Part 2 — Send Emails from Gmail Using Your Domain Address
- Gmail → Settings → Accounts and Import
- Under Send mail as, click Add another email address
- Enter your name and
info@yourdomain.co.ke→ Next Step - Enter SMTP settings:
SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.co.ke
Port: 587
Username: info@yourdomain.co.ke
Password: your email password
✅ Secured connection using TLS
- Click Add Account
- Gmail will send a verification code to
info@yourdomain.co.ke - Check your webmail at
https://yourdomain.co.ke/webmailfor the code - Enter the code in Gmail → Verify
Using Your Business Email in Gmail
When composing a new email, click the From field and select info@yourdomain.co.ke to send from your professional address.
You can set it as your default sending address under Settings → Accounts and Import → Send mail as → make default.
