Braysons Host was founded by a team of Kenyan technology professionals who saw a gap: Kenyan SMEs were paying premium prices to foreign hosting companies that offered no local support, no M-Pesa payments, and no understanding of the Kenyan market. We set out to change that.
First 100 Kenyan Businesses
Within our first year, we had onboarded over 100 Kenyan businesses — from retail shops and law firms to schools and churches. Word spread through WhatsApp groups and referrals. Our reputation for fast, human support became our strongest marketing tool.
KeNIC Accreditation Achieved
We became an officially accredited KeNIC registrar, allowing us to register .co.ke domains directly in Kenya. This was a landmark moment — we could now offer a fully Kenyan end-to-end service: domain registration, hosting, and support, all under one roof.
M-Pesa Integration Launched
We launched full M-Pesa integration for all hosting and domain payments. Clients could now pay via Lipa Na M-Pesa and receive instant account activation. This removed the single biggest barrier to digital adoption for Kenyan SMEs: the need for an international credit card.
