What is the difference between registering and renewing a domain?
Registering is the first-time purchase of a domain name. Renewing is paying to keep the domain for another year after it expires. Prices are the same for most TLDs.
Can I transfer my domain to Braysons?
Yes. WhatsApp us and we will walk you through the transfer process. Transfers are usually completed within 5–7 days for .co.ke and up to 7 days for generic TLDs.
Do I need a Kenyan address to register a .co.ke?
No. Any individual or business can register a .co.ke domain. You do not need a Kenyan address or company registration.
What happens when my domain expires?
We send renewal reminders on WhatsApp before your domain expires. If it expires, there is a grace period before it is released. WhatsApp us immediately if your domain has expired.
Can I register a domain without hosting?
Yes. You can register a domain without buying hosting. You can add hosting later or point the domain to any server.
