Setting Up Email Forwarding

Email forwarding lets you receive emails sent to info@yourdomain.co.ke directly in your Gmail or any other inbox — without configuring a separate email client.

Step 1 — Open Forwarders in cPanel

  1. Log into cPanel
  2. Go to Email → Forwarders
  3. Click Add Forwarder

Step 2 — Configure the Forwarder

  • Address to Forward: Enter the local part (e.g., info) and select your domain
  • Forward to Email Address: Enter your Gmail or personal email
  • Click Add Forwarder

Step 3 — Test the Forwarder

Send a test email to info@yourdomain.co.ke from another account. It should arrive in your Gmail within a few minutes.

Forwarding All Emails for a Domain (Catch-All)

A catch-all forwarder receives emails sent to any address at your domain — even misspelled ones.

  1. In Forwarders, click Add Domain Forwarder
  2. Select your domain
  3. Enter the destination email
  4. Click Add Domain Forwarder

Caution: Catch-all addresses receive a lot of spam. Use with care.
