When you register a domain, your name, email, phone number, and address are stored in the public WHOIS database. Anyone can look up this information. WHOIS Privacy Protection replaces your personal details with generic contact information.

.co.ke Domains and Privacy

KeNIC (the .ke registry) has partial privacy built in — your phone number and physical address are not shown publicly. However, your name and email may still be visible.

Enabling Privacy Protection

1. Log into client.braysons.co.ke
2. Go to Domains → My Domains
3. Click Manage next to your domain
4. Find ID Protection or Privacy Protection
5. Toggle it On
6. Confirm the change

Checking Your WHOIS Data

After enabling protection, verify at who.is or whois.domaintools.com that your personal details are no longer visible.
