How to Log Into cPanel for the First Time

Accessing Your cPanel

After your Braysons Host account is activated, you will receive a welcome email containing your cPanel username, password, and login URL.

Step 1 — Find Your Login URL

Your cPanel URL follows this format:

https://yourdomain.co.ke:2083

Or use the direct server URL provided in your welcome email (e.g., https://server1.braysons.co.ke:2083).

Step 2 — Enter Your Credentials

1. Open the URL in your browser
2. Enter the username and password from your welcome email
3. Click Log In

Tip: Bookmark your cPanel URL so you can access it quickly in future.

Step 3 — Secure Your Account Immediately

Once logged in:

• Change your password under Preferences → Password & Security
• Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added security
• Note your Home Directory path (e.g., /home/yourusername)

What to Do Next

From cPanel you can:

• Upload your website files via File Manager
• Create databases under MySQL Databases
• Set up email accounts under Email Accounts
• Install WordPress via Softaculous Apps Installer

Trouble Logging In?

If you cannot log in, check:

• Your internet connection is not blocking port 2083
• You are using the correct username (not your email address)
• Caps Lock is off — passwords are case-sensitive
